The halwa is sweet plus the puri is savory... but a chana normally accompanies this great pair. I hugely advise the Dry Kala Chana I've provided as optional inside the recipe. Other chana possibilities involve Kala Chana Masala, with black chickpeas, and also Chole, a yellow chickpea curry. B
